The first product I recommend you add to your beauty essentials. This product can be certainly used on your hair and body, but since we wear the hijab when we're out, why not use it as a hijab mist. This product comes in many different scents, but this one I love most! It's sweet but still very mature and spicy.
Foundation
Lightweight, easy to apply and gives you the perfect glow. What more does one want in the summer. Most of the time (if you're one that likes the sun), you end up with a natural glow anyway, so wearing any makeup at all isn't necessary.
Beauty Elixir
I have many face mists I use. And most I love! This Caudalie beauty elixir is a more luxurious, almost spa like version of any of the mists I use. It gives you an instant refresh, hydrating and smells like a spa in a bottle. Highly recommend after a long day at the beach and wanting to just settle into zen.
Glow Serum
Glow is all you need all year round. Summer or not. This glow isn't only aesthetically pleasing to add to your vanity, but also gives you a beautiful glow. Definitely a product you want to add to your summer beauty essentials.
Lip liner
Makeup Forever. Anywhere Caffeine. The important information you actually need. Literally the perfect nude shade if you have a more olive-tanned complexion. A bride actually introduced me to this shade, and I still can't get over it.
Mascara
Came across this product recently and am intrigued with the formula. This mascara doesn't only work as makeup but also skincare. It coats your lashes beautifully while promoting healthy lashes. Also the sleek design is a must, always.
Cream Blush
Cream products generally are your beauty essentials' best friend. They're light, buildable and feel so beautiful on the skin. They can also be applied to various areas on the face, including your eyes, lips and ofcourse, cheeks. This colour is also the perfect rosy shade to complement your sun-kissed skin.
Lip Oil
I know matte lips are still a thing, but this gloss! Especially for your summer beauty essentials. Most of summer, we spend in the sun, on holidays or out and about. And who doesn't want luscious lips doing so. Keeps them nice and hydrated, and so, so juicy.
Cream Balm
I love aesthetic products period, but I love them even more when they're actually useful. This Chanel cream balm is absolutely divine. Can be applied to lips and cheeks, but honestly who's judging. Apply where you please. The colours are beautiful and compliment all skin tones.
Brow Gel
Brow gels are used to keep your eyebrows in place, because if they're anything like mine they tend to go in any direction they please. Therefore, I highly recommend this product. It was a close second to Benefit 24hr Gel, but since I noticed it creates a 'flaky' look on your eyebrows over time, I moved on to this.
Bronzer
I don't need to explain a bronzer do I? I know some people love it, others don't use it too much. Beautiful thing about the Gucci bronzer is the tone isn't too warm to only work as a bronzer, nor is it too cool to work as a blush. As Huda Beauty calls it, it works as a 'blonzer'. The best of both worlds, wrapped in one adorable little product.
Eyeshadow
If I was to pick one small, compact eyeshadow palette, it would be this Tom Ford one. The tones are beautiful and very elegant. They also work for day or night. Personally, I like to use the gucci bronzer above for soft eyeshadow looks, but this palette is perfect for that extra glam when you're all dressed and going out somewhere fun.
Moisturiser
We love a little moisturiser. Or a lot. But I love nothing more than an extra hydrating with the benefits of glowy skin moisturiser. This product tops the list, mainly because this brand is top tier. And this product is unlike any other. A summer beauty essential for sure.
Cleansing Balm
After applying makeup, please make sure you remove it at the end of the day. This Elemis cleansing balm is so gentle on the skin and removes almost all of your makeup. I would use the Bioderma miscellar water after cleansing with a cotton pad just to remove any left over excess product.
Collagen Overnight Mask
Best part about beauty is the self care part. Where you actually put in the effort to ensure your skin is divine, so your makeup looks divine. This Medicube collagen overnight mask is just what you need to treat yourself after a busy week and need that extra hydration.
Deep Collagen Mask
Another overnight face mask that TikTok has hyped. But for very good reason. So hydrating, keeps your skin nice and plump and feels good! Apply it on your face and let it work its charm overnight. You'll wake up feeling like another woman.
VinoHydra Moisturising Mask
I remember the first time I used this product while I was still working at Sephora. It changed my entire perception on the brand. I went from not really caring to investing a lot of time, research and money in their products. So good, you need to try for yourself.
VinoPerfect Glycolic Peel
If you know the benefits of AHA's, you'll be on to them before I am. Great f or resurfacing the skin, minimising the look or large pores and replenishing your skin to look it's absolute best. It's like getting a facial without the service.
Deodorant
I know this is a random one, but I love a GOOD deodorant. One that isn't drying, leaves white stains or smells fruity. This entire range comes in sweet, spicy scents. And by spicy I mean almost like a fragrance, not actual spices (ew). You can also find these at any local woolies.
